Questions

Frequently asked questions

Still unsure? These are the questions we hear most.

Is this call free?

Yes. Calling is free and there is no obligation to enroll in any plan.

Who will I speak with?

A licensed insurance agent who can review plans available in your ZIP code and answer your questions.

When can I enroll or change plans?

The Annual Enrollment Period runs October 15 – December 7. You may also qualify for an Initial Enrollment Period around your 65th birthday or a Special Enrollment Period after certain life events.

Can I keep my doctor?

It depends on the plan. An agent can check whether your doctors and pharmacies are in network before you choose.

What's the difference between Medicare Advantage and Medigap?

Medicare Advantage replaces Original Medicare with a private all-in-one plan. Medigap adds to Original Medicare to help cover out-of-pocket costs.

Do I pay more if I use an agent?

No. Plans cost the same whether you enroll through an agent or on your own. Agents are paid by the insurance companies, not by you.

What if I have both Medicare and Medicaid?

You may qualify for a Dual Eligible Special Needs Plan (D-SNP) with extra benefits. An agent can check what's available in your area.

Are you the government?

No. We are a licensed insurance agency, not connected with or endorsed by the U.S. government or the federal Medicare program.
